The broker, Dean Schwartz, also has over 35 years of lending experience and was a certified appraiser at one time. These qualifications have enabled him to be able to negotiate real estate transactions to help both sellers and buyers.
Our office policy allows us to represent sellers, buyers, both buyers and sellers (Limited Agency), or just handle the transaction.

About Roy
I have been in the real estate business for over 35 years in North Central SD. I have experience in selling Ag land, bare lots, residential homes, and commercial businesses. I also was a certified appraiser and a lender for many years giving me the knowledge to provide broker price opinions, and financial advice.
I am 61 years old. My wife (Danette) and I currently have a new home in Apple Springs (Boulder Canyon), located in Sturgis. We have had a second home there since 2017 and bought our first lot in 2008. We have two grown daughters (Samantha and Shauneil) who are both in the medical field as doctors. I have been involved in Apple Springs HOA, Architectural Committee, and been on the Boulder Canyon Country Club Board of Directors for two terms and currently the President. I have been on numerous volunteer boards including economic development and church council.
We are making the Black Hills our permanent home and would like to continue listing and selling real estate in Boulder Canyon and surrounding area. I plan to be your “local” real estate professional and provide the best service possible for both sellers and buyers.

Prior to real estate, I spent nearly 17 years working in the legal field and I bring a client-focused work ethic into my real estate business. My experience working with individuals in tough situations has given me the skills I need to gain your trust from the start as well as the ability to listen to and understand unique concerns and desires.
